Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Category Management Specialist in Marlborough, MA to support Global Category Managers in executing regional and global sourcing events.

You will guide event execution, apply strategic sourcing methodologies, and build trusted relationships with business partners across TJX. You’ll contribute to category strategy development, manage supplier selection processes, and ensure compliant Source-to-Pay practices while delivering value and cost improvements in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years strategic sourcing, procurement, or related experience
• Able to independently lead assigned sourcing initiatives with Business Partners
• Knowledge of RFx requirements including RFI, RFP, and e-Auction events
• Understanding of basic negotiation principles in support of value delivery
• Able to recommend supplier selections to Business Partners
• Strong relationship development, communication, and collaboration skills
• Strong command of procurement systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to analyze data related to spend, supplier performance, and market trends
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Supports Global Category Managers in the execution of regional and global sourcing events across all assigned categories.
• Leads strategy development and project execution for assigned sourcing events using defined methodologies and templates.
• Develops regional and global sourcing strategies with Global Category Managers.
• Builds relationships with Business Partners to ensure project delivery.
• Participates in contracts development and ensures compliance with TJX approval and audit requirements.
• Performs sourcing analysis for strategic events.
• Keeps abreast of innovations, new products, sources, price trends and market conditions.
• Participates in category planning and contributes to strategy.
• Develops supplier recommendations in partnership with management.
• Ensures Source-to-Pay process is compliant for eligible category spend.
• Applies negotiation principles to deliver value for assigned categories and projects.
