Job summary

American Airlines in Fort Worth seeks an Analyst/Sr Analyst in Global Capacity and Route Planning to shape our domestic and international network. You will analyze profitability, booking trends, and work with International Network Planning, Operations, Revenue Management, and Sales to forecast routes.

You will aggregate complex data, develop capacity plans, and present insights to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training.
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience in airline departments such as Network Planning, Revenue Management, or Financial Analysis.

Responsibilities

Track industry trends and use data to identify lucrative opportunities to improve the existing route network and add destinations.
Manage key international relationships with airline partners and outside stakeholders.
Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales to develop analyses and forecasts for the network.
Maintain reports that measure performance and align with commercial goals.
Support initiatives that reshape international network functions and interactions with other groups.
Identify opportunities to create efficiencies with asset deployment.
Develop and deliver data analyses, visualizations, and presentations for internal stakeholders at all levels.
