Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Global Clinical Program Lead in Late Respiratory and Immunology Clinical Development in the United States. You will oversee a major clinical program, manage a cross‑functional team, and shape strategy to deliver trials and publications.

The role requires a medical/scientific qualification with 5–8 years of experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of GCP and regulatory standards. Office-based with phased in‑person collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD or equivalent medical/scientific qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant clinical development experience and cross‑functional work.
• Knowledge of biostatistics, regulatory requirements, GCP, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical program with accountability to the Global Clinical Head across complex studies.
• Supervise Global Development Medical Directors and Scientist Directors; cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ensure data supports benefits/risks for label indication; strategic portfolio delivery.
• Manage risk mitigation, timeline, budget, and publication strategy with GCH.
