Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience with procurement in horticultural inputs or related sectors.
• International purchasing experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including SAP R/3, Google and MS Office.
• Ability to navigate in a regulated industry (e.g., Organic/OMRI).
• Experience developing and negotiating supplier agreements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross functional teams to develop multi-year global technology strategies for Scotts’ product portfolio.
• Evaluate new technologies, supplier capabilities, cost structures, risks, and partnership potential.
• Develop, negotiate, and execute supply agreements in accordance with company policies.
• Create and implement procurement strategies for all responsibilities.
• Develop and implement cost savings projects generating 2–3% of assigned spend annually.
• Ensure compliance related processes and procedures are uncompromised.
• Develop disruption mapping and mitigation strategies.
• Communicate business updates to internal and external partners.
• Travel as required.
