Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering or related field.
• 3-5 yrs (7-10+ yrs) proven experience in global planning, supply chain management, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• Proficient in planning software and tools such as ERP systems and capacity modeling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions.
• Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement principles; green/black belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and manage global supply planning strategies by product category to optimize costs, capacity and reliability.
• Lead cross-functional teams with sales, operations, procurement, logistics and distribution to feed the planning process.
• Analyze demand patterns, market trends and constraints to ensure robust supply chain planning.
• Define and maintain planning parameters (safety stock, reorder points, lead times) per business needs.
• Facilitate demand planning meetings and provide financial justifications for working capital.
• Coordinate with affiliates and stakeholders to align inventory, capacity and resources.
• Monitor KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels) and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement planning systems and tools.
