Job summary

Guest Worldwide, a Sysco subsidiary, is seeking a Senior Planner/Buyer in New Jersey to manage supply chain strategy, procurement, and inventory control. The role involves leading a team of Buyers and planning staff to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

The candidate should have 5+ years of procurement/planner experience, strong ERP and forecasting skills, and a proven cost-saving mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum 5 years of experience as a Planner/Buyer.
• Supply Chain degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and guide the team while fostering relationships with internal/external departments and customers.
• Lead projects supporting Fiscal Year initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee purchase orders through the purchasing process and ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite orders as needed to support production and customer demands and track status.
