Job summary

Just Evotec Biologics is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer – Global MSAT to lead AVEVA PI deployment across international sites and to drive integration with DeltaV and other process control systems. You will shape the PI framework, expand analytics, and maintain data governance in a GMP manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong SDLC experience, global collaboration, and ability to manage validation and change controls.

Qualifications

• Robust background in control system automation, including design, installation, programming, and validation of automated processes.
• Strong expertise in AVEVA PI system architecture, configuration, and development (PI AF, PI Vision, integrations).
• Experience integrating AVEVA PI with process control systems such as DeltaV (preferred), SCADA, or DCS platforms.
• Experience supporting or defining automation standards, governance, and change management in a global manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with SDLC practices for automation systems.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to enhance PI system capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment of the AVEVA PI system across international sites.
• Architect and sustain the PI system framework using PI AF and PI Vision.
• Lead development of the AVEVA PI ecosystem with new data sources and analytics.
• Define integration strategies between AVEVA PI and process control systems.
• Support governance and lifecycle management of automation platforms.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and engineering to align PI and automation with company objectives.
• Develop technical documentation including specifications, SOPs, and training materials.
• Author and execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols for automation and data systems.
• Manage CAPAs and change controls with MTS team to implement updates.
• Provide technical oversight for projects involving third-party integrators.
