Job summary

Just Evotec Biologics is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer – Global MSAT to lead AVEVA PI deployment, integration, and analytics across international sites. The role emphasizes data governance, SDLC practices, and collaboration with MSAT and site automation teams to advance cGMP manufacturing for continuous processing.

The ideal candidate has deep AVEVA PI expertise (PI AF/PI Vision), strong deltaV/DCS integration experience, and a track record of validated automation projects in a global

Qualifications

• Strong background in control system automation design, installation, programming, and validation.
• Experience integrating AVEVA PI with process control systems (DeltaV/SCADA/DCS).
• Familiarity with SDLC practices for automation systems.
• Knowledge of FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment of AVEVA PI across international sites, including planning, config, validation, and rollout.
• Architect and sustain the PI framework using AF and Vision for data management and visualization.
• Lead integration of data sources and analytics with PI for advanced reporting.
• Define integration strategies between PI and process controls (DeltaV, DCS) for real-time data access.
• Support governance and lifecycle management of automation platforms and global standards.
• Develop and improve SDLC processes for automation and data systems.
• Collaborate with MSAT and site automation teams to align with manufacturing objectives.
• Ensure secure OT connectivity between PI systems and process environments.
• Develop dashboards and analytics tools using AVEVA PI for actionable insights.
• Contribute to process control strategies including batch tracking and control limits.
• Provide technical guidance and issue resolution for global teams.
