Job summary

The Phoenix Group is seeking a Messaging Systems Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of enterprise messaging across a global environment. You will manage Exchange Server (on‑premises and Online), Active Directory/Entra ID, and related security measures, ensuring reliability, compliance, and user productivity.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience with hybrid Exchange deployments, MFA, and MDM integrations (Intune, AirWatch, Mobile Iron).

Qualifications

Six+ years of experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premises, online, and hybrid) and Active Directory/Entra ID.
Proven expertise with Exchange Online administration and migration.
Strong skills in MFA configuration, RBAC, and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, migrate, and support Exchange Server environments (on-premises and cloud).
Architect and maintain global messaging infrastructure including AD/Entra, DNS, DHCP, and email security.
Lead troubleshooting for messaging and directory services to ensure high availability and security compliance.
Develop documentation, SOPs, and end-user training for messaging systems.
Lead cross-functional projects and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
