Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a global team and optimize manufacturing across contract manufacturers and internal lines. You will drive producibility, quality, and cost efficiency while coordinating with cross-functional teams on advanced electronics and hardware products.

The role requires experience in manufacturing engineering at scale, leadership of diverse teams, and a strong background in process control, GD&T, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering is required.
• 3+ years in engineering management or team leadership.
• 5+ years of technical manufacturing/industrialization experience at scale.
• Experience with remotely managed NPI and contract manufacturers.
• Expertise in production quality metrics and GD&T; familiarity with qualification procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing engineers supporting global manufacturing, supply chain, and quality.
• Sustain manufacturing lines at contract manufacturers and transition into production.
• Characterize failures; perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Own manufacturing process control and drive improvements for reliability, quality, and yield.
• Collaborate across projects as a coach on engineering and operational challenges.
• Manage transition to manufacturing, including first article inspections and industrialization.
