Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Transportation Specialist III to oversee logistics for Gas and Steam Turbine projects across the U.S. and the Americas.

You will coordinate transportation, freight, and customs, acting as a SME for transportation processes and supporting internal and external partners. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of logistics, transportation, import/export, or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs compliance, and international logistics operations.
• Experience with FTZ, TIB, HTS classifications, free trade programs, and customs regulations.
• Understanding of Incoterms and international transportation processes.
• Experience with freight forwarding, carrier management, and transportation planning.
• Proficiency with SAP and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation, logistics, and customs requirements for domestic and international projects.
• Develop and maintain transportation provider networks capable of supporting planned and unplanned project activities.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, steamship lines, terminals, warehouses, and carriers to track shipments and confirm cargo availability.
• Analyze and coordinate transportation solutions, including rail, heavy haul trucking, FTZ, route analysis, and logistics planning.
• Maintain transportation logs and ensure all required shipment documentation is properly uploaded and archived.
• Review import and export documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
