Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Logistics Specialist in Tucson, AZ for a hybrid role focused on strategic logistics and export/import coordination. You will oversee MEI shipments, manage cost elements, and collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) with 5+ years of relevant experience and has international logistics exposure, earned value, and financial reporting familiarity.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
• Experience with Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, and or Program or Project Management.
• International supply chain experience.
• Earned Value Management System experience, or experience with other financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Supply Chain leadership in executing strategic logistics and supply chain initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal Product, Export/Import, and Logistics teams.
• Coordinate with external third‑party logistics providers to maintain operational alignment.
• Define and maintain the logistics scope and basis of estimates for new programs.
• Support transportation processes by updating shipment status across multiple international programs.
• Track and analyze all cost elements associated with shipments and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Manage Earned Value, Risk Management, and Opportunity Management components within logistics budgets.
• Execute shipping transactions, prepare country‑specific documentation, and maintain milestone tracking and reporting.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (20% domestically / 10% internationally).
• This position is onsite at one of our Tucson, AZ locations.
