Job summary

RTX is seeking a Supply Chain Logistics professional for our Tucson, AZ location. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external providers to align on program logistics and costs, including EVMS tracking.

Domestic and international travel is expected, with on-site work at the Tucson site. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or advanced degree plus 5+ years in logistics, with experience in global supply chains, earned value, and Lean/Six Sigma where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or advanced degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, and/or Program/Project Management.
  • International supply chain experience is required.
  • Earned Value Management System experience or equivalent financial reporting tools.
  • APICS CSCP or equivalent certification preferred with ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support Supply Chain leadership in executing strategic logistics initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal Product, Export/Import, and Logistics teams.
  • Coordinate with external third‑party logistics providers to maintain alignment.
  • Define and maintain the logistics scope and estimates for new programs.
  • Support transportation processes by updating shipment status across programs.
  • Track and analyze all cost elements and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Manage Earned Value, Risk Management, and Opportunity Management within budgets.
  • Execute shipping transactions and prepare country-specific documentation.
  • Travel domestically and internationally (20%/10%).
  • This role is onsite at one of our Tucson, AZ locations.

Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access after start date.

What You Will Do
  • Support Supply Chain leadership in executing strategic logistics and supply chain initiatives.

  • Define and maintain the logistics scope and basis of estimates for new programs.
  • Support transportation processes by updating shipment status across multiple international programs.
  • Track and analyze all cost elements associated with shipments and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
  • Manage Earned Value, Risk Management, and Opportunity Management components within logistics budgets.
  • Execute shipping transactions, prepare country‑specific documentation, and maintain milestone tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (20% domestically / 10% internationally).
  • This position is onsite at one of our Tucson, AZ locations.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, and or Program or Project Management.
  • International supply chain experience.
  • Earned Value Management System experience, or experience with other financial reporting tools.
  • We Prefer APICS CSCP or equivalent certification, with the ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in Integrated Logistics Support concepts, requirements and processes.
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access after start date.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
