Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc (USA) in Cranbury, NJ, seeks a Manager, Logistics & Purchasing to plan and oversee global transportation inbound and outbound into CMOs, DCs, and to customers, ensuring timely, cost-efficient delivery for projects.

The role emphasizes PO maintenance, 3PL oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with planning, QA, finance, and vendors. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Five (5) or more years of transportation experience required.
• Global experience including importing/exporting product.
• Experience in U.S. Parcel, Global Air and Ocean, LTL, FTL; B2B and DTC transportation experience preferred.
• Experience in beauty, hair care, skin care, CPG and/or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office incl. PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience in SAP ERP and other MRP systems.
• Ability to organize and adapt in a changing environment.
• Strong Excel and statistical analysis skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables).

Responsibilities

• Oversee NA 3PL activities for inbound/outbound shipments and samples.
• Maintain 3PL operations oversight and coordinate with 3PL team daily.
• Coordinate with suppliers to secure ETAs and manage deliveries with freight companies.
• Negotiate transportation rates to optimize costs and monitor carrier performance.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and optimize processes.
• Resolve shipment issues including shortages and discrepancies.
• Support monthly/quarter-end closings and cross-functional meetings.
• Travel up to 30% as required.
