Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries in New Jersey is seeking a Manager Logistics & Purchasing to plan and oversee global inbound/outbound transportation to CMOs and distribution centers, and from DCs to retailers and parcels.

The role manages PO maintenance with packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers, leads execution strategies to balance timely delivery with cost efficiency for projects, and travels up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field required.
Five (5) or more years of transportation experience required.
Global experience in importing/exporting product.
Experience with U.S. Parcel, Global Air and Ocean, LTL and FTL.
Experience in beauty, hair care, skin care, CPG or pharmaceutical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee NA market 3PL activities for inbound, outbound and samples; coordinate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
Negotiate transportation rates to optimize costs and monitor carrier performance.
Maintain master data for inventory items and process POs in SAP.
Attend meetings with CMOs and internal teams; reconcile GRNs and investigate discrepancies.
Travel up to 30% as business needs require.
