Specialized Bicycle Components seeks an experienced IP counsel to lead global intellectual property strategy—patents, trademarks, and copyrights—and to advise leadership across product and engineering teams.

You will manage filings, licensing deals, and enforcement while ensuring compliance with international IP laws. Admission to a U.S. bar and patent bar are preferred; outdoor industry experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. required with strong background in intellectual property law.
• Experience advising leadership and cross-functional teams on IP risks.
• Admission to a U.S. state bar; patent prosecution experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute global IP strategy including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Advise leadership and product/engineering teams on IP risks, licensing, and opportunities.
• Manage IP-related litigation, disputes, and enforcement actions.
• Oversee patent/trademark filings, prosecution, and portfolio management.
• Draft and negotiate IP agreements (licensing, tech transfer, NDAs, partnerships).
• Ensure compliance with international IP laws and internal policies.
• Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing to protect assets.
