Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in communications, product, innovation, or science storytelling.
• Strong writing, editing, presentation and research skills.
• Understanding of innovation, design, and product creation processes.
• Ability to work with technical experts and senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of sport science, human performance, materials, and emerging technology.
• Passion for mission and making athletes better.

Responsibilities

• Serve as core contact between Global Communications and IDP teams, translating athlete insight and product work into communications
• Develop and execute plans that position innovation platforms and product breakthroughs in global storytelling
• Translate athlete insight and engineering work into clear, athlete-focused narratives for internal and external audiences
• Build messaging frameworks, content plans, decks, and storytelling tools for milestones
• Collaborate with Brand, Athlete Marketing and Legal to ensure channel consistency
• Plan and execute key moments, events, and experiences tied to innovation milestones
• Manage stakeholder communications and timelines to ensure operational excellence
