Job summary

Genesis AI is building a robust supplier base for production of its general-purpose robots. You will source and qualify domestic and international suppliers for machined, cast components, gears, motors, PCBAs and harnesses, ensuring two-source viability for critical subsystems.

You’ll negotiate terms, manage RFQs, and drive cost-down initiatives across the supply chain. This role requires a strong track record in hardware supplier development, BOM ownership, and change control, with experience

Qualifications

• Built supplier base for hardware going into production.
• Deep experience with machined/cast metal parts, gears/actuators, motors, PCBAs and harnesses.
• Developed new suppliers in diverse regions and qualified them to standard.

Responsibilities

• Source, qualify and manage suppliers for machined/cast structures and sub-systems.
• Own commercial aspects: RFQs, should-cost, long-term agreements, payment/terms with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Lead design reviews to ensure supplier capability is integrated from the start.
• Maintain complete BOM control, cost roll-ups and changes across production.
• Oversee inbound logistics, supplier QA loops, and PPAP where applicable.
