Job summary

Datacor is seeking a Solution Engineer to scale pre-sales across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and APAC. You will own Flow Simulation demonstrations, answer technical questions, and partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle from a remote base in Europe or the Middle East.

Your background includes 3–5 years in engineering software pre-sales, a mechanical engineering degree, and familiarity with pipe flow and fluid dynamics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a Solution Engineering or technical pre-sales role at an engineering software company.
• Ability to deliver software demonstrations to both technical and business audiences.
• Strong discovery skills to map pain to value and handle technical objections.
• Degree in mechanical engineering with piping or fluid dynamics background.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and APAC to run discovery calls and deliver demonstrations.
• Build Flow Simulation demo environments, use cases and proof-of-concept scenarios.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and technical proposals with the sales team.
• Represent Datacor at trade shows and webinars; develop partner-facing materials.
