Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer for our Cary, NC location (and other Garmin sites) to ensure products meet EMC, RF and international regulatory requirements for global markets.

You will work with product development, electrical, RF, software and QA teams to identify requirements, assess risks, and develop effective compliance strategies while contributing to the ongoing improvement of Garmin’s compliance processes and test capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer or RF Engineering or related field with ≥5 years of experience.
• Experience with EMC/RF test methodologies and compliance.
• Experience with country certifications or homologations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop regulatory, certification and market access requirements for Garmin products.
• Plan and oversee pre-compliance testing for EMC/RF.
• Lead compliance reviews and coordinate with internal teams and labs.
• Develop and improve Garmin's compliance processes and guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers on regulatory topics.
