Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst - Global Threat Analysis (GTA) for its Federal Strategic Cyber program, based in Rosslyn, VA. The role requires deep regional threat expertise and strong analytical writing; you will deliver intelligence-driven insights and briefings to leadership, using OSINT and classified research to contextualize threats.

Ideal candidates have experience with malware analysis and adversarial targeting of USG personnel, and hold or are able to obtain the required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years’ experience, or 7+ years with a Master’s.
• Certifications listed in the job posting must be obtainable before start date.
• Strong writing and briefing skills for senior leadership.
• Expertise in adversarial cyber actors, historical activity, and current landscape.
• Experience researching classified systems and using OSINT resources.
• Knowledge of how USG personnel are targeted domestically and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cyber threats from state and non-state actors and identify TTPs.
• Research classified systems and use OSINT to assess threats.
• Provide cybersecurity briefings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor adversarial activity and its implications for USG personnel and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance situational awareness and defense posture.
• Assess malware, intrusion techniques, and exploitation trends.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global cyber threats and actors.
