Job summary

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. is seeking an Assistants General Counsel to serve as a senior legal leader and trusted advisor to the executive leadership team.

You will own a broad portfolio including commercial transactions, corporate governance, and international legal matters, delivering practical, business-focused counsel across transactions, entities, board relations, M&A, and real estate. You will help leaders anticipate risk, support international growth, and build scalable legal processes.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, ability to obtain Pennsylvania license.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience, including executive leadership.
• Significant corporate leadership experience, supervising attorneys or legal staff.
• Experience advising a technology-oriented business with exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel across commercial transactions, governance, M&A, and international matters.
• Support executive leadership with risk assessment and decision-ready materials.
• Oversee entity governance, corporate records, and multi-jurisdiction compliance.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on complex matters, including cross-border transactions.
• Translate local legal requirements into clear guidance for business leaders.
