Job summary

Lutron Electronics seeks an Assistant General Counsel to partner with the executive team on commercial, corporate governance, and international matters. You will provide practical, business-focused counsel across transactions, entities, board relations, M&A, and real estate, helping leaders anticipate risk and build scalable legal processes.

The ideal candidate: JD, active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with ability to obtain Pennsylvania, 10+ years of experience, leadership

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to obtain Pennsylvania license.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience, including advising executive leadership.
• Experience supervising attorneys, paralegals, or other legal professionals.
• Experience with technology-oriented manufacturing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal counsel across commercial transactions, corporate governance, and international matters.
• Support executive leadership with board and shareholder relations, M&A, and real estate.
• Oversee governance, corporate records, and compliance across domestic and international jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel on entity formation, maintenance, and dissolution.
• Provide legal guidance for cross-border transactions and regional initiatives.
