Job summary

DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Sr. Director, Corporate Communications to lead enterprise communications strategy and execution across the organization. This role shapes reputation, strengthens employee engagement, and supports strategic priorities during growth and transformation.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, guiding messaging and stakeholder engagement while ensuring consistency across internal and external channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive corporate communications experience with leadership.
• Experience advising senior leadership and managing enterprise communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead global corporate communications strategy to support business objectives and transformation.
• Advise executive leadership on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and reputational risk.
• Oversee internal communications to drive employee engagement and alignment with priorities and values.
• Lead external communications including corporate announcements, media relations, and thought leadership.
• Manage crisis and issues communications with timely, accurate responses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Regulatory, Marketing, and business leaders for messaging accuracy and compliance.
• Build and develop a high-performing communications team and manage agency partnerships.
• Ensure communications align with Credo and leadership expectations.
