Job summary

Recursion is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Supply Chain to lead end-to-end global programs, from Phase I/II planning to Phase III readiness, with a focus on scalable, data-driven forecasting, packaging, labeling, distribution, and inventory management.

You will partner with Clinical Ops, QA, Regulatory, and CMC to align supply strategies with milestones and commercial readiness, while building robust tools, SOPs, and risk mitigation for registrational trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years in clinical project management or clinical supply chain in pharma/biotech.
• Direct experience managing late-stage (Phase IIb/III) pivotal trials supply chains, scalable manufacturing and packaging for flexibility and speed.
• Deep knowledge of global clinical trial supply operations, import/export regulations, and complex distribution networks.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing IRT/RTSM systems and understanding cGMP/cGCP and blinded protocols.
• Proven vendor oversight of contract packaging vendors and global depots, with budget management.
• Ability to navigate early-phase ambiguity while enforcing rigor for late-stage development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end clinical supply chain strategy for global programs, establishing Phase I/II processes while preparing for Phase III.
• Oversee complex demand forecasting, packaging, labeling, global distribution, logistics, and inventory as trials expand internationally.
• Manage external packaging vendors, CMOs, and trial supply depots; optimize IRT/RTSM logic for flexible trial designs.
• Build data-driven workflows using AI and advanced tools to optimize forecasting, inventory, and logistics.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, QA, Regulatory, and CMC to align supply strategies with milestones and commercial readiness.
• Create scalable supply chain tools, SOPs, and risk-mitigation strategies for registrational trials and uninterrupted patient supply.
