Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to support the Global Clinical Supply organization, improving end-to-end distribution and coordinating with CMOs, CROs, and trade compliance teams. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize global shipments to trial sites.

The role emphasizes multi-project management in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and collaboration across clinical supply networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain or related field with minimum 6 years’ experience in clinical supply chain, or High School Diploma with 10 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Operations.
• Working knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs processes, and international shipment execution.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise supply chain systems.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics initiatives across upstream divisions to strengthen distribution experience.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with Clinical Supply Planning, CMOs, Trade Compliance, and CROs.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and external partners to drive issue resolution.
• Design and implement distribution strategies for efficient, compliant delivery to global sites.
• Monitor logistics performance and identify gaps to improve service levels and responsiveness.
