Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Staff Client Platform Engineer to architect the next generation of client platforms and automate global endpoint fleets. You will set the vision for platform service delivery, lead multi-functional initiatives, and improve reliability, security, and developer productivity through advanced software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 12+ years of experience in Client Platform Engineering.
• Expert-level experience managing global endpoint fleets at scale.
• Configuration as Code and Infra as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) with Git-based CI/CD.
• Proven ability to build internal tooling, CLI tools, or microservices for platform operations.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust for systems engineering and tooling.
• Strong communication and partner management skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable tooling and services for client platforms and define end-to-end automation strategy.
• Apply codified principles for auditable, version-controlled changes across a global heterogeneous client environment.
• Set technical standards for platform automation and mentor engineers in modern software practices.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Product teams to improve reliability and developer experience.
• Serve as primary architect for complex platform service delivery and drive long-term remediation.
• Influence architectural direction and establish cross-team procedures.
