Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead centralized $200M+ category spend within the CSA Supply Chain organization. This role reports to the Director for Motors, Plastics, Fans & Blowers Sourcing Leader and drives cost, quality, and production flexibility across Carrier’s NA footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7+ years’ experience with strategic sourcing or mechanical, electrical, or VAVE engineering for a global industrial manufacturer.
• 30% travel including some international trips.

Responsibilities

• Manages global category spend for approx. $200M.
• Builds and executes category strategy optimizing affordability, availability, agility and innovation.
• Establishes cross-functional network with suppliers, supply chain, engineering, quality, and product management.
• Owns vendor performance data and reports metrics to leadership.
• Manages external relationships with suppliers including contract negotiations, new products development, and capacity planning.
• Develop the commodity management team to drive global performance with regional teams.
