Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Senior Category Manager to lead centralized $200M+ categories spend across the NA footprint. You will partner across business units, engineering, and procurement to craft and execute best-in-class sourcing strategies and achieve cost, quality, and production flexibility improvements.

This leadership role requires strategic vision, deep negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving industrial environment with ~30%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years in strategic sourcing or related engineering fields.
• MBA and/or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM) are a plus.
• Experience with global industrial manufacturers and supplier negotiations.
• Willingness to travel ~30% including international trips.
• Strong negotiation and strategic mindset essential.
• Experience with lean tools and data-driven category management.

Responsibilities

• Manage global category spend of about $200M.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve cost, quality, and flexibility.
• Collaborate across engineering, quality, product management and supply chain teams.
• Own vendor performance data and report metrics to leadership.
• Lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships and contracts.
• Develop the commodity management team with regional and Center of Excellence support.
