Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead a centralized $200M+ category spend across NA. You will drive sourcing strategies, collaborate with engineering, quality, and product management, and deliver competitive advantage in cost and production flexibility.

The role reports to the Motors, Plastics, Fans & Blowers Sourcing Leader and requires a strong track record in strategic sourcing within a global industrial manufacturer. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience for a global industrial manufacturer.
• Ability to travel 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manages global category spend for approximately $200M.
• Develops and maintains category strategy to optimize cost, availability, agility and innovation.
• Builds cross-functional networks with suppliers, engineering, quality and product management.
• Owns vendor performance data and reports metrics to leadership.
• Leads the commodity management team in collaboration with regional teams and Center of Excellence.
