Job summary

Dana Canada Corp. is seeking a Procurement professional to drive cost reductions and value across global sourcing initiatives. The role emphasizes strategic planning, RFQ execution, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize supplier performance and contract terms.

The successful candidate will formulate annual plans, analyze quotes for best value, and lead negotiation efforts while coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year business degree or engineering degree as listed in the job ad.
• Professional supply chain certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Willing to travel approximately 10%.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual business plans for cost reductions and YoY performance improvements.
• Obtain and analyze quotes to determine best value; recommend global sourcing solutions.
• Develop and lay out commodity strategies and track to the strategy.
• Prepare complete RFQ packages and negotiate basic contract terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive issue resolution with suppliers.
