Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Johnston, IA, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance strategic projects team. The GL Project Resource will drive general ledger improvements and ERP data initiatives, partnering with global controllership to deliver timely results.

You will lead SAP-related implementations, support automation, and mentor regional teams while ensuring US GAAP compliance and accurate month-end close. A strong background in accounting and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8–10 years in Controllership experience preferred.
• Local GAAP accounting expertise required.
• Leadership responsibilities within a regional/global team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve general ledger solutions for global controllership teams.
• Assist with SAP implementations for GL and data take on workstreams.
• Develop new solutions and drive automation across ERP initiatives.
• Train business teams for smooth transitions and clear communication of changes.
• Maintain status updates for milestones, dependencies, risks and cross-impacts.
• Collaborate with other workstreams and business functions to deliver outcomes.
