Job summary

Vylor in Johnston, IA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance strategic projects team within controllership. The GL Project Resource will drive general ledger initiatives and support ERP/migration efforts while partnering with global business teams to meet project timelines.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 8–10 years of controllership experience, US GAAP expertise, and strong SAP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8–10 years’ experience in Controllership.
• Local GAAP accounting expertise.
• Country Controller/Regional Accounting Expert.
• Leadership responsibility.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Excel/Access/Office/SAP a must.

Responsibilities

• Design, build general ledger solutions for global controllership teams.
• Assist global team to develop new solutions and drive automation.
• Assist on SAP implementations for GL & data take on workstreams.
• Assist with data take on for ERP & transformation projects.
• Build and leverage partnerships with other workstreams/functions.
• Communicate effectively, identify gaps in processes and designs.
• Provide ongoing status updates for milestones/deliverables.
• Report on dependencies, issues, risks, and cross-impacts.
• Train business teams for smooth transitions and changes to processes.
