Qualifications

  • Translate complex GIS concepts into clear business decisions and communications.

  • Manage third-party GIS vendors, consulting partners, system integrators, and contract resources.
  • Coordinate project design, implementation, testing, cutover, operational readiness, and transition activities.
  • Support business case development, project governance, stage-gate reviews, and executive reporting.
  • Translate complex GIS and technical concepts into clear business decisions and executive communications.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of IT/Technology Project Management experience; 10+ years preferred.
  • Proven experience managing GIS technology projects from initiation through implementation and closeout.
  • Experience with GIS software implementation, migration, modernization, upgrade, or conversion projects.
  • Hands-on project management experience with ArcGIS and/or Esri GIS environments.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Utility Network is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing large, complex, enterprise-wide technology projects involving multiple IT teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong experience managing vendors, system integrators, consulting partners, and third-party resources.
  • Experience working with Waterfall SDLC, stage-gate reviews, structured project governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Experience managing technical dependencies, data migration, testing, cutover, and operational readiness.
