Job summary

US Tech Solutions seeks a Senior IT/Technology Project Manager - GIS to lead a large enterprise GIS Utility Network modernization project. You will manage migrations from legacy networks to ArcGIS Utility Network, coordinating with GIS teams, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in IT/Technology PM, with ArcGIS/Esri experience and Waterfall SDLC familiarity. Strong governance, risk management, and executive reporting are essential. Duration: 2+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IS, CS, business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years IT/Technology PM experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Proven GIS project management experience from initiation through closeout.
• Hands-on ArcGIS/Esri GIS environments experience; ArcGIS Utility Network preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale GIS and enterprise technology projects from initiation through implementation and closeout.
• Manage GIS software implementation, modernization, migration, and conversion projects.
• Coordinate migration of geospatial data/models to modern GIS platforms and Utility Network environments.
• Collaborate with GIS teams, architects, IT, business users, vendors, and partners.
• Develop integrated, resource-loaded project plans with tasks, dependencies, milestones, and forecasts.
• Drive project execution, remove obstacles, ensure delivery against outcomes.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, escalations, scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Coordinate third-party GIS vendors, system integrators, and contract resources.
• Oversee design, implementation, testing, cutover, readiness, and transition activities.
• Support business case development, governance, stage-gate reviews, and executive reporting.
• Translate complex GIS concepts into clear business decisions and communications.
