we-do-IT Inc. (WDI) provides geospatial and data services for electric, gas, water, and telecommunications utilities. Our team has deep expertise in design, construction, and maintenance workflows that utilities utilize to deliver safe and reliable energy to customers.
We are seeking a motivated GIS professional for a 1-year contract, with the potential for full-time conversion. The role requires relocation to a client's regional office, preferably in Dallas, TX, or one of the following locations: Lubbock, TX, Denver, CO, Franklin, TN, New Orleans, LA, or Jackson, MS.

Compensation
Pay Range: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour ($58,240 to $70,720 annually)
Bonuses: Annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
Responsibilities
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field and five years of experience in complex geospatial analysis, preferably in the Gas Utilities or Energy Sector. Certified GISP preferred.
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Numeric Skills
Proficiency in algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations, including analysis involving ratios, percentages, and statistical methods.
Computer Skills
High proficiency in GIS software and programming, including GE Smallworld, Esri products (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online, Web AppBuilder, Mobile Applications), SQL Server, and SAP. Experience with Construction Management Applications is a plus.
Other Requirements
Availability to work across US time zones, pass drug and background tests.
Remote work flexibility.
