Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a GIS Specialist to provide robust GIS and database support for regulatory reporting and risk management. You will respond to queries, resolve complex technical issues, and lead annual regulatory reporting efforts while working in a hybrid mode from Oakland or remote locations as business needs require.

The role requires 7+ years in GIS, ArcGIS proficiency, and a valid CA driver’s license.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years GIS experience.
• ArcGIS experience required.
• CA driver’s license or equivalent.

• Utilize advanced GIS knowledge to solve complex data and workflow problems.
• Develop and implement GIS data gathering, integration, and quality control procedures with significant impact.
• Manage GIS data development projects, shepherding requirements and vendor contracts.
• Serve as lead SME for enterprise GIS initiatives and software functionality requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to maintain system architecture and resolve issues affecting users.
• Provide training, documentation, and stakeholder communication for GIS initiatives.
