Job summary

Energy Transfer in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior GIS Specialist to support field divisions and the Engineering Department, using the company’s GIS to perform specialized mapping and pipeline integrity work. The role requires translating GIS information for non-GIS stakeholders, by written, oral, or cartographic means.

Responsibilities include updating the corporate GIS database with as-built records, generating ad-hoc maps and reports, supporting mapping services for multiple business units,

Qualifications

• Proficient with CFR 192/195 for class calculation and HCA determination.
• Minimum 5 years’ ArcGIS experience.
• Strong GIS database & SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Update the Corporate GIS Database with as-built records.
• Create ad-hoc maps and reports for requesting departments.
• Support mapping services for multiple business units and provide GIS expertise.
• Perform geospatial overlays to build data sets for ad-hoc requests.
• Assist with applications deployed and maintained by the GIS group.
