Job summary

Exus Renewables North America is seeking a GIS Manager to lead all aspects of the GIS program for wind, solar and BESS projects across Development and Operations. You will oversee GIS support, implement new products, methodologies and strategies, and manage the system, software, tools and licenses.

This is an on-site, five-days-in-office role based in Pittsburgh with oversight of data management, geospatial analysis, mapping, and coordination with engineering and construction teams to deliver

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in GIS or related field required
• At least 2 years’ experience with GIS systems and geospatial data analysis
• Thorough knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS suite: ArcGIS Enterprise, Pro, Server, ModelBuilder and Geodatabases
• Experience with AutoCAD Map 3D and CAD to ESRI data conversions
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Earth
• Experience with road/transmission line design and disturbance calculations preferred
• Experience processing aerial LIDAR DEM data or drone imagery preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee GIS support for Exus Renewables North America projects
• Manage ArcGIS Enterprise, data management, licenses, budgeting and implementation
• Perform basic to advanced geospatial tasks using ESRI ArcGIS products
• Support development, engineering, and construction with GIS deliverables
• Produce engineering drawings for environmental compliance and site layouts
• Manage a digital GIS map library and metadata
• Work with data sources to build property and site databases
• Integrate setback criteria with project data for buildable lands maps
• Identify and format publicly available GIS datasets for development
• Collaborate with the development team on solar and wind site placement
• Conduct GIS data audits and QA across geodatabases
