Job summary

Exus Renewables North America seeks a GIS Manager to lead all aspects of the GIS program across development and operations for wind, solar and BESS projects. The role oversees ArcGIS Enterprise, data management, and GIS tooling.

You will implement new GIS products and strategies, manage licenses, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, and produce site layouts and maps to support environmental compliance and permitting.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in GIS or related field required.
At least 2 years of GIS systems and geospatial data analysis experience.
Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro and extensions, ArcGIS Server, ModelBuilder and Geodatabases.
Experience using GIS for analytical decision support and cartography.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Map 3D and CAD to ESRI data conversions.
Proficient with MS Office and Google Earth (KMZ handling).
Experience with road/transmission design or disturbance calculations preferred.
Experience processing LiDAR DEM data, drone imagery, or other raster data.

Responsibilities

Primary point of contact for all Geospatial needs within Exus Renewables North America.
Manage and oversee ArcGIS Enterprise, data management system, hardware, software, licenses, budgeting and implementation of new GIS software.
Perform basic to advanced geospatial tasks using ESRI ArcGIS products.
Support development, engineering, and construction with GIS deliverables; establish standards for GIS support.
Produce engineering drawings for environmental compliance, permitting and site layouts.
Manage a digital GIS map library; create, edit and manage metadata and data sources.
Develop databases of property information for site developers (boundaries, ownership, leased lands, wind data, lines, environmental features).
Integrate setback criteria from project data to create buildable lands maps for modeling software.
Identify and format publicly available GIS datasets for development efforts.
Collaborate with development teams on placement of solar arrays and wind turbines.
