Job summary

Salt Lake County IT is seeking an experienced software developer with extensive GIS experience to join our Data & Analytics team. You will develop and support GIS applications, REST services, and ETL processes across Salt Lake County.

Candidates should have ArcGIS experience including REST services, ArcGIS Maps SDK, and ArcGIS Pro SDK for .Net, with strong communication skills to translate requirements to practical GIS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 4 years of related data/software experience, or 8 years combined education/experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online including Portal, Server, Data Store, Enterprise Geodatabases.
• Knowledge of GIS technologies and REST services; ability to translate business requirements into GIS solutions.

• Develop and support software applications, systems, and integrations.
• Analyze, profile, and document business information systems and applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and analysts to plan and execute tasks.
