Job summary

KDG Construction Consulting is seeking an experienced GIS Project Manager to support GIS, data visualization, and dashboards for public infrastructure and capital programs. The role emphasizes managing spatial databases, integrating data, and producing maps and reports for executive decisions.

The ideal candidate combines PM expertise with advanced GIS skills and strong communication, ensuring timely responses to data requests and adherence to accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science, Geography, Data Science, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience for candidates at the Project Manager II level, or fifteen (15) years for candidates at the Project Manager III level.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in GIS analysis, spatial data management, and dashboard or data visualization development.
• Advanced proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise, or comparable GIS software.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining interactive dashboards using ArcGIS Dashboards, Experience Builder, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources into unified reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of accessibility requirements including ADA and WCAG for public-facing content.

Responsibilities

• Manage GIS-related project activities, schedules, priorities, and stakeholder requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards to track project progress and KPIs.
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using ArcGIS Dashboards, Experience Builder, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into unified reporting views.
• Analyze spatial and non-spatial data to support project tracking and decision-making.
• Design, maintain, and update spatial databases, data standards, and QA/QC procedures.
• Utilize ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise to manage spatial datasets and analysis.
• Develop and maintain maps, exhibits, visualizations, and reports for briefings and meetings.
• Respond to ad hoc data, mapping, dashboard, and reporting requests within deadlines.
• Collaborate with PMs, program staff, and stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Apply QA/QC procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Support data processing and workflow automation using SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Establish data documentation, metadata, and reporting standards.
