Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Sciences, GIS or related field with GIS emphasis.
• Five years progressively responsible GIS experience, with lead/supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of legal descriptions, cartography, aerial photography, and data management.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS licensing and data standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate GIS and Mapping Services operations.
• Supervise GIS technicians; assign priorities and review performance.
• Oversee parcel maps, data queries, and case maps for county and INCOG communities.
• Maintain GIS databases, establish data standards, and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate services with planners and stakeholders and assist with budget recommendations.
