Job summary

AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst/Programmer for Ent App to develop and support GIS applications and system integrations within ArcGIS/ArcFM environments across Avangrid’s electric and gas operations. This role partners with business units, IT and vendors to design, develop and deploy scalable GIS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Geographic Information System (GIS), Computer Science, or a related field of study and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be a proven team player to work, promote and consolidate efficient team working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS requirements gathering, solution design, and cross-functional consensus with business units, vendors, and IT teams.
• Develop, configure, enhance, and support enterprise GIS applications, integrations, services, and automation workflows across ArcGIS, ArcFM, and related business systems including SAP and OMS/ADMS.
• Support processes in ETL, data orchestration, data validation, automation workflows on Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Provide technical support for geospatial data, database compliance, platform administration, system performance, cybersecurity, and reliability.
• Lead technical phases of major projects, monitor schedules, and ensure successful delivery.
