Qualifications

  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/Online and governance of GIS systems.
  • Education/Training: GIS certificate + GIS Professional (GISP) with 5–7 years, or a Bachelor's/Graduate degree with 3–5 years in GIS.
  • Knowledge of GIS operations, data management, and programming basics.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Administer all aspects of the GIS Office, including budgeting, staffing, and training.
  • Identify strategic plans for the GIS Office with input from leadership.
  • Administer GIS architecture, applications, and multi-user geodatabases (ArcGIS Server, ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro).
  • Manage addressing operations, road naming, and liaise with 911 and local agencies.
  • Provide GIS support to E911 PSAPs, MSAG and CAD maintenance.
  • Coordinate GIS topics across county departments and external partners.
  • Evaluate new GIS products and technologies aligned with budget and needs.
  • Serve as GIS SME for NG911 adoption, MS4 permitting, and related projects.
