Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT GIS development and administration
• Experience with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise and their APIs
• Strong geocoding and spatial analysis skills
• Proficient in JavaScript, Python, C#, .NET, and SQL
• Experience leading GIS projects and teams
• Clear, customer-focused communication and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise GIS databases, apps, and web services
• Develop and implement the GIS Roadmap and Modernization Plan; address technical debt
• Mentor junior staff and develop standards/docs; promote knowledge sharing
• Support division GIS and geocoding needs; collaborate with partners across MDH and agencies
