Insight Global is seeking a senior GIS Developer for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity in Houston, TX. The role focuses on developing and supporting enterprise GIS apps within an Esri-based environment and automating geospatial workflows.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years GIS development experience, strong Python and JavaScript skills, FME expertise, and a track record of modernizing large GIS platforms. Onsite four days per week, with project ownership and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of GIS development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with the Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Enterprise/Server/Pro/Online).
• Python GIS workflow automation and data-processing scripting.
• Experience developing GIS applications using JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with FME and spatial ETL processes.
