GIS Developer II – Houston, TX – Insight Global

Insight Global is seeking a GIS Developer to join its GIS team in Houston, TX.

The role is primarily responsible for managing the ArcGIS Portal, configuring applications, training users, creating advanced analysis in the portal, developing workflows, troubleshooting server issues, and performing day‑to‑day administrative duties. The position requires a hybrid schedule with onsite work 3 days a week.

To qualify, applicants must be comfortable with the hybrid schedule and possess the following skills and experience.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience within GIS.
• 5+ years of experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise Portal.
• 2+ years of experience using ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience writing and maintaining code in Python.
• Experience working with SQL databases and Postgres.
