Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr. GIS Programmer to support the Office of Information Technology’s GIS program in Towson, MD. The role blends onsite and remote work under a hybrid model with a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities include developing applications, upgrading GIS models and AddIns, and conducting enterprise GIS development. Requires strong SQL and ArcGIS expertise with focus on reporting and database development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• 3+ years with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS APIs.
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python.
• Strong SQL knowledge with triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience in reports using SSRS, Power BI.
• Relational DB knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server).

Responsibilities

• Perform application development and support activities for the GIS program and Planning office.
• Upgrade and develop an Agricultural Preservation Model and ArcGIS Pro AddIn.
• Conduct GIS application development in an Enterprise GIS environment.
• Perform code reviews, documentation, planning, and development.
• Support database development.
