Qualifications

• Five years of IT experience.
• Six years of FT work experience plus three years in IT.
• Associate’s degree in IT plus three years IT experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years IT experience.
• Bachelor’s with 24 sem hours in IT/CS/engineering/math/analytics plus two years IT.
• Master’s degree plus two years IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary technical consultant for database administration and support for DEQ and other agencies.
• Provides analysis and expertise to end-users and management; mentors staff and training.
• Identifies needs for database, GIS and app development; reviews software and vendors.
• Advises on acquisitions, capacity planning and trends; studies technical literature and reports results.
• Performs other tasks, projects, analyses, and plans as directed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years IT

Master’s degree + 2 years IT

Associate’s degree in IT + 3 years IT

Six years FT work experience + 3 years IT

Five years IT experience
